Privacy Policy

EasyEquity ("the app", "we") is a personal net-worth tracking application by EasyPlanning. This policy explains what data the app processes, how and why. It is written to comply with the EU GDPR (2016/679).

In one line: your financial data lives on your device. We don't sell it, share it, or need it for the app to work.

1. Data controller

2. What we process and where

a) Local mode (default, free plan) — no account

All your financial data (assets, debts, values, milestones, settings) is stored only on your device in a local database. Nothing is sent to any server. We have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes it.

EasyEquity does not connect to your bank and does not require an account.

b) Cloud sync (optional, Premium with account)

If you enable multi-device sync you create an account. We then process:

Contact data: your email (to identify the account and sign in).
Financial info: your asset and debt values, to sync across your devices.

Stored encrypted on Supabase servers in the EU, accessible only from your account. Amounts and identifying names are end-to-end encrypted: they are sealed on your device with a key that never leaves your devices, so neither we nor Supabase can read them. Legal basis: performance of the contract you requested.

c) Purchases (Premium)

Purchases are handled by Apple App Store / Google Play and our subscription provider RevenueCat. We never see your card details. RevenueCat processes an anonymous purchase identifier and your subscription status. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

d) Early-access list

If you leave your email in the early-access form on this website, we process:

Your email and the language you were browsing in, to write to you when we launch.

Purpose: to notify you of EasyEquity's launch and launch offer, and to send you communications from EasyPlanning — the same company behind EasyEquity — about its personal-finance templates and content.

Legal basis: your consent, given when submitting the form and withdrawable at any time.

Who processes it: the email is stored encrypted on our own servers (EU) and in Brevo, the email platform we use to send you messages. Brevo acts as a data processor and its servers are in the EU.

How to unsubscribe: via the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or by writing to hola@easyplanning.tech. When you unsubscribe we delete your email from the list.

We don't use these emails for anything else, sell them, or share them with third parties beyond email delivery itself.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
No ads, no tracking SDKs that identify you inside the app.
No access to your local-mode data.

On this website (equity.easyplanning.tech) we use Google Analytics only if you accept cookies in the banner; you can decline and browse normally.

4. Retention

Local mode: as long as the app is installed; you are in full control.
With an account: until you delete it. You can delete your account and all server data from Settings → Delete account (immediate, irreversible).
Early-access list: until you unsubscribe, or up to one year after launch if you never end up using the app.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. In local mode you exercise these directly (your data is on your device and exportable to Excel/PDF). For cloud data, email hola@easyplanning.tech or use Delete account. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

6. Children

Not directed at children under 16; we don't knowingly collect their data.

Updates are posted here with their date.
